Enrollment
Taiyo is currently accepting applications for children aged 12 months to 6 years, for both part-time care (50 hours a month minimum) and full-time care (100 hours a month minimum). If your child is under the age of 12 months, you can be added to our waitlist for future enrollment.

September 2025 - Taiyo is accepting enrollment in our Preschool Classroom (ages 3-6).
We also offer out-of-school care for children in kindergarten through Grade 6. Please send us an email if you are interested in enrolling your child in care for before or after school, or non-school days (PD days, Flex Fridays and school holidays).

Fees
Taiyo is pleased to participate in the Alberta Childcare Affordability Grant, making child care more affordable for your family. On April 1st, 2025, a flat and predictable monthly parent fee was put in place by the Alberta Government, and rates are based on hours attended (part-time or full-time) for children up to kindergarten age.

50-99 Scheduled Hours per Month (Part-Time): $230.00/month
100+ Scheduled Hours per Month (Full-Time): $326.25/month
Children must be registered to attend a minimum of 50 hours per month.

Eligible families can apply for a subsidy to offset the cost of child care for children in Grades 1-6.
​
The fee for out-of-school care for school holidays and PD days is $7/hour.
Drop-in care, when available, is also offered at the rate of $7/hour.
Before school care (6:00-8:30 a.m.) is available for a fee of $20/morning.
After school care (3:30-6:00 p.m.) is also available for a fee of $20/afternoon.
