Hello. I'm Dana, Director of Taiyo
I became an ECE 11 years ago and have worked at a variety of childcare centers. I've nannied three amazing kids, worked for the Rockyview School Division in the Learning Commons and been an EA, working with children with complex needs. I grew up in Acme, proudly graduating from Acme High School. My last name might look familiar to some, my family are the owners of Acme Farm & Building Centre. I grew up watching my Dad be an amazing leader and boss, and am taking what I have learned from him into my Director role at Taiyo.
I enjoy spending my free time baking desserts and sourdough, reading, playing board games with friends and binging TV series with my boyfriend and our cat Ruggs. I became an ECE because I wanted to have a positive impact on children’s lives, help them learn and grow and advocate for their right to play. My favorite part about working with children is watching them learn or experience something new for the first time, their excitement and joy is contagious. I am so excited to take on the role of Director at Taiyo. I have been working hard to create an inviting and inspiring classroom and can’t wait to see how my amazing team of ECEs and children will grow in the space.

Hello. I'm Denay
Hello I am Denay Kinniburgh, I am currently taking my early childhood education and development level 2 and plan to carry on to my level 3. I love to read and hope to pass that on to the children I get to teach. I love working with children as they never fail to give you a new, more positive way to look at things. They’re opened-minded and always have the best stories. One of my favorite parts of working with children is watching them grow and get past milestones, the light bulb moment when they finally get what they have been working for is such an amazing thing to be a part of. I love children and how much love they bring to everything they do.
Hi! My name is Ashley
Hi! My name is Ashley Moulton, I am a graduate from Acme high school and have had a passion for working with children for over half of my life. I come from a small family of 4, I have a younger brother, two beautiful loving parents, and a small pup named Gomez. I consider myself a very outgoing and determined individual, using that determination to create a professional, safe and caring environment for children. Working with children allows me to continue living my youth, and being able to teach at the same time. I've always known I have a strong passion for working in the childcare field, especially with infants/toddlers, because they bring me so much joy and patience. I truly admire working with children because of how lit up they are when you walk into a room, it really makes me as an educator feel great. In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with friends and family, going on long drives, and playing outdoor sports. I'm currently working as a Level 1 Early Childhood Education worker, and have plans to continue my education to receive my Level 2 and 3 certifications in the future.
Hi, I'm Lisa!
My name is Elizabeth Harris. I was born in Mexico and my family moved to Canada in 2007. I have two kids of my own, they are my whole world.
I'm currently working as a Level 1 Early Childhood Education worker, and have plans to continue my education to receive my Level 2 and 3 certifications in the future. Right now I am taking the flight curriculum to better my teaching with learning through play.
I have a strong passion for working with children, they never cease to amaze me. I consider myself very lucky to work with such mighty learners, they bring pure joy to this world. Every child is unique in their own way, to watch and learn from every child is a blessing. I became an ECE in hopes to empower every child to reach their fullest potential.
In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes in mountains, and getting to see all the amazing things that life has to offer. I spend a lot of my free time just being present for my children.
