Upcoming School Closures

Alberta teachers gave their strike notice for October 6th, 2025. Taiyo has received approval to provide full-time care to school-aged children during the school closures.

Out-of-school care during the school closure will be structured the same as our summer weekly care, at a cost of $175 per week. If additional care is needed outside school hours (6:00-8:30 a.m. or 4:30-6:00 p.m. or both), an additional fee of $50 per week will be applied and is subject to availability. On September 30, the Alberta government announced parent payments to offset the cost of child care.
